Moved to Three Hills in 1972 with my wife Darlene and I have 3 grown children and 3 beautiful and healthy Grandchildren.

I became involved with the Community when I joined the Kinsmen Club and held many executive positions in the Kinsmen Club and doing community service in Three Hills. I am a member of the Three Hills Elks Club and have held many executive positions in the local club, as well promoting the National Elks Curling in Three Hills.

Chairman of the Three Hills health Initiative that has raised over 130 thousand dollars with two Galas for the Three Hills Health Care Centre portable Ultrasound machine and a portable X-ray unit.
I was vice-chair and Director of Activities for all competitions for the Alberta Senior Summer Games held in Three Hills recently.

I was chairman of the Three Hills Curling Club for a number of years before, while and after a new facility was built.
I was elected to Council in 2010 and am serving my second term as Councillor for Three Hills. I have served on The Kneehill Regional Doctor Recruitment and Retention Committee since first elected to council and have been very successful in recruiting new doctors to our community, an ongoing process. Appointed to Canadian Badlands Tourist association, Chairman of Economic Growth Committee, and chair of Municipal Planning Commission.
