Councillor Harold Leo
Born and reared in the state of Washington, Harold Leo was first introduced to the community of Three Hills in 1974 when he enrolled as a student at PBI. After graduating in 1978, Harold returned to Washington as a youth worker in a local church. There he was privileged to meet and marry Deborah. Together they returned to Three Hills in 1980 where Harold worked in the graphics and printing division of the college.
Debbie and Harold reared 4 sons, all of whom still live and work in the Kneehill region. They are also privileged to enjoy three wonderful grandchildren who are exceptional in every way! For the past several years, Harold has enjoyed working in the construction field where he is a heavy equipment operator. He and Debbie enjoy time spent with family, travel and outdoor activities. Annual visits to the southern Oregon coast are a particular highlight for the couple.
Harold was originally elected to council in the late 1990’s. Following that term, the family returned to the west coast for a period of time to be nearer to aging parents. After returning to Three Hills, Harold was re-elected to serve on council in 2007 and has continued in that position to the present. Councillor Leo values the opportunity to participate with fellow councillors and administration to develop strategic plans and policies ensuring that Three Hills has a bright future. ills H
